EXPERIENCE
2008 - 2010
Advanced Micro Devices / ATI Unit
Sunnyvale, CA
Graphic Designer
Replaced two advertising agencies previously used by the workgroup. Extremely varied position supporting ATI's Worldwide Workstation Graphics Advertising Director and his workgroup, designing and producing technical publications, brochures, white papers, case studies PowerPoint presentations, packaging, labeling and various promotional materials, all fitting within AMD's well-defined corporate brand standards. I was also tasked with uploading the print materials I designed to various internal servers and websites, and developing and maintaining the group's extensive arwork archives. The position also called for design of websites, banners and graphics and preparation of product photography for print, PowerPoint and Web in addition to maintaining up-to-date product photography files. Speed and accuracy attracted assignments from AMD units in Canada, Asia and Europe in addition to the original workgroup.

2006 - 2008
Visa International Commercial

Assignments involve brochures, white papers, web page designs, CDs, PowerPoint presentations, display graphics, document templates for Visa personnel, and displays and environmental graphics for Visa international forums and conferences. This is a particularly demanding design environment because all projects must adhere to Visa's international brand standards, which emanate from my working group. Calls not only for advanced skills in the Adobe Creative Suite but also significant production expertise including coordinating projects with vendors, writing schedules and estimates and handling press checks.
